A word about the statistics on the 25 Project.org

When reading and considering the statistics we’ve posted, we want you to be aware that we realize statistics are imprecise so many times.  With serious issues like the ones we’ve listed, it is most often difficult to know exact numbers since they are so large and so overwhelming.  The reality will likely remain that, when dealing with issues such as these, the best numbers anyone has are just best guesses.

Statistics are just numbers, but each statistics represent real people.  Behind the numbers are boys and girls, men and women who have been created and loved by God.  Many times when confronted with such eye opening statistics, the common tendency for many people is to be overwhelmed so much so that it causes some to be paralyzed into non-action.  We may wonder with such daunting numbers, “What difference can anyone really make?”

However, the absolute truth is you can make a difference.  In the midst of an ocean of statistics everywhere you look, ultimately, there is only one statistic that matters.  It only takes a single person to make a lifelong and eternal difference in the life of someone in need of Hope and healing.  May you be one who will say yes to God and use your life to be a part of bringing Hope and healing to the least of these.
