Meet The Team
Fewry Egerton
Director of Tombo Ministry
Sierra Leone
Fewry Egerton is a native Sierra Leonean from the western area rural district of York village. He currently lives in Tombo, which is one of the locations where we minister to street children or children in most need. My moving from York Village into Tombo, Fewry felt that his ministry could be most effective.
Fewry feels so blessed to have been raised in Christian home. His father was a reverend and his parents taught him the importance of having a relationship with Christ.
Fewry struggled for a longtime with his faith to be a real reflection of Christ even though he was raised in a very strong Christian home. His relationship with Christ became a faithful priority while He was studying at the Evangelical College of Theology where he experienced the true work of Christ.
It was at that time that Fewry totally gave his life to Christ, obeying Him wholeheartedly from that moment on. Fewry was subsequently baptized in March of 2016 at Kent Beach.
Fewry was once a translator for the 25 Project when teams went to Sierra Leone. It was through this that we discovered his love for Jesus and the kids we serve. He oversees the ministry for the 25 Project in the predominately Muslim fishing village of Tombo.
Fewry is grateful for the way God is using his life to build long lasting relationship with kids, and directing them to a life changing relationship with Christ.
