Getaendale Wale was born in Korah, a small village in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Overcoming significant hardships, he grew up in a sponsorship ministry similar to 25 Project, where he was introduced to Christ. Through sponsorship, he also attended Shashemene Boarding School and later earned degrees in Law, Governance, and Management from Addis Ababa University. Passionate about helping others, Getaendale has worked with organizations like Hope for Korah and Out of the Ashes. He now serves as the Director of Operations in Ethiopia for 25 Project, where he serves children and families who live near Korah’s trash dump.
